I’m Catherine, Registered Nutritionist (RNutr) accredited by the Association for Nutrition (AfN), qualified feeding therapist and founder of Catherine Lippe Nutrition. I created Catherine Lippe Nutrition to help families get confident with weaning and conquer fussy eating.
I work with many families who want to get their little one off to a good start with weaning or who are trying to navigate their way through food refusal. Whether that’s a period of pickiness or extreme food refusal and food aversion it can be a worrying time for parents. We all want our children to eat well and to accept a variety of foods to support their growth but feeding difficulties can lead to stressful and exhausting mealtimes. If you’re at the end of your tether at mealtimes and don’t know what to try next I am here to help.
As a qualified feeding therapist and child nutritionist my child-led approach starts with getting to know you and your child’s feeding behaviours. I am here to listen your concerns and to support you in finding the right feeding solutions for your child. The strategies we discuss are tailored to suit your child’s feeding and sensory needs and aim to give you the confidence and the skills needed to make mealtimes stress free and to help your child enjoy food.
I have over 15 years’ experience as a paediatric nutritionist and have worked for both the private and public sectors including the NHS where I worked for 7 years as an Early Years Community Nutritionist in East London. I am a qualified feeding therapist with the SOS approach to feeding and a member of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for a fit and healthy childhood. Alongside working with families, I am featured as child nutrition expert in Mother and Baby, Gurgle magazine, BBC bitesize and am the consultant nutritionist for Babease and The Early Years Nutrition Partnership.
